Match Made in Toyota-land
The neat online shopping tool from Toyota, called Find Your Match, helps car shoppers find the perfect Toyota to suit their lifestyle. Instead of looking tirelessly at configurations and comparing models, this innovative tool guides the shopper through a series of questions that leads them to the top three Toyota matches for their needs. From work commutes to road-tripping to Grandma’s house, the tool will match you to the three best models for your needs. See the process below and then get to matching!
1) First, pick where you’re headed. Will you use your Toyota for work, road trips or just casual driving?
2) Then, pick how you plan to use your vehicle and what is most important to you. Are you just driving to work? Do you have a large family or a small family? Do you like to save on gas or do you like extra storage space?
3) A couple more questions, and you’re matched! From there you can choose to explore the three models or start configuring your perfect match.

Toyota brought big news to the New York International Auto Show with the unveiling of the 2015 Camry. Although the new model is just a refresh for the current generation Camry, the model introduces some significant redesigning for the car that’s earned the recognition as the best-selling car in the United States for 12 straight years. Group Vice President and Toyota Division General Manager, Bill Fay said that the 2015 Camry incorporates nearly 2,000 new parts and 90 percent new sheet metal. In fact, the new model boasts a complete exterior redesign with the exception of the roof.
The 2015 Camry will even add a new XSE trim level that will sit between the existing SE and XLE models. The new XSE will be the sportiest Camry with 18-inch wheels, firmer shocks, springs and bushings, and unique steering tuning.
“Customers today love the durability, quality and value that the Camry represents, but they are looking for a little more style, comfort and performance, and this 2015 Camry has all of the above,” said Bob Carter, senior vice president of automotive operations of Toyota Motor Sales USA.
Keep an eye out for updates and news on the 2015 Camry as it nears its expected launch date this fall. Testing Out the Toyota i-Road EV
Consumer trials have begun for Toyota’s i-Road electric vehicle, which debuted at last year’s Geneva auto show. Ten vehicles will be tested out by 20 different consumers in the Tokyo area. The participants will provide Toyota with driving feedback and other information. The ultra-compact vehicle features a system called Active Lean which allows the vehicle to lean on corners like a motorcycle. Not intended for highway use, the vehicle’s top speeds are around 30 mph. Check out the video below to watch the i-Road EV in action.
