Making a difference in the lives of children in our community is extremely important, and the Easter Basket Auction from Brent Brown Toyota is a great way to give back to those in South Jordan, Draper, and Salt Lake City. Through charitable giving, local businesses help support the auction and raise money for afterschool programs in Provo.

Partnership

Every year, local businesses partner with the Foundation and local schools to sponsor the Easter Basket Auction. During the event, more than 100 baskets are donated and auctioned to the highest bidder. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the event support afterschool programs in Provo City School District.

The Event

The event is held in the ballroom of Provo’s historic library and includes a delicious buffet provided by the culinary class at Provo High. There are plenty of live auction items, which include vacation homes, hunting and fishing trips, athletic game tickets, art, and so much more.

Donating

There are plenty of ways that the local businesses can get involved. The very first way to help those in need is to donate a basket of goods or services or provide a monetary donation. Another way to help is by attending the event and bringing friends and family members along to help raise money for a great cause.

This Year’s Event

This year’s Easter Basket Auction from Brent Brown Toyota will be held on March 24, 2016 at 6:30 PM at Riverside Country Club.

Impact

Every year, we raise about $150,000-$200,000, and since inception, we have raised more than $1 million. Since it takes about $12,000 for every school to have an after school program, this event truly makes an impact.
